Moi,
I noticed something interesting about LiPos: They benefit from pressure on the side that prevents puffing.
Sounds absurd at first, prevent puffing by pushing on the LiPo. However, one guy who wrote a book on LiIon cells states very clearly that pouch cells need mechanical support to prevent delamination (a link is on the other thread below).
I tried this with my 450 for a couple of days with an old Hyperion pack that otherwise puffs like a world champion. Performance is amazing.
So maybe we'll start flying hardcase LiPos like the car dudes soon...

Hei,
could not see the pics from rcheliaddict, since I am not a member there. Did I get it rright, you add support on "so called" upper and lower surface of a lipo, not onto sides? Or do you pack it all around?
And your old Hyperion rocks like it ever did? Sounds 2good...

Hi,
here are the pictures.
It's just something I've tried, not saying it's ready for production...

Tuossa taannoin kerroin pojille Kivikossa, et joskus mitattiin hieman turvonneen lipopakan jännitettä. Puristamalla pakkaa kasaan jännite nousi suunnilleen 0,03 volttia...

Kiitos kuvista Markus!
Ps. ostetaan pullistelevia 6s 2200- 2600 lipoja halavalla ;)

Pitääpä askaroida jotkut kotelot noille mun kuvauskopterin palloille ja katsoa mitä tapahtuu!
