Usually I fly for weeks without coming close to a crash.
Then, there are days like this:
- For a start: Piro-crash. Oh well, I knew it would happen... and it did. Nothing bad, main shaft, bearing and main wheel, took less than 15 min to fix.
- Next: Mid-air rotor explosion, because one blade holder screw had come loose... BTW, "Kiitos" for finding the blades in the Hentta jungle!
- Two Lipos later with the other heli, the tooth fairy had a go at the main wheel :o Five or six teeth remain, barely enough for landing (phew!)
- Another main wheel to the heli and back in the air. Two minutes later, unexplained power loss: Loose pinion ::)
total damage is only around €20 or so, but the day feels a bit wasted...

Tuo kaikki samalla reissulla?
Aika hienosti :D

Tais olla tosiaan hammaskeiju tänään henttaalla... :-\
Mulla katos pääakselilla perään välittävän kiekon hampaita silleen aaltomaisesti noin puolet...
Paikat auki ja korjaavia toimenpiteitä...

Mullahan kävi samalla tavalla leirillä, lavanpitimien ruuvi irti. v2 nuppi myös. Markus kannattaa purkaa lavanpitimet pois ja putsata spindle huolellisesti ennen kiinnitystä, tulevat tehtaalta rasvatussa pussissa joten ruuvilukite ei välttämättä pidä kovin hyvin!

now -this- spindle is not going to fly anymore, don't you worry. Probably the last two rounds of thread were stripped, I'm not going to take any risks with that or the screw.
Loctite -should- be able to deal with greasy surfaces (the instructions say so), but of course, clean surfaces wouldn't hurt.
