Spektrum DX 7 SE?

Something to think about, now that everybody seems to sell their old, latency-burdened Futaba radios:
Many people report that the DX 7 SE "feels faster" and Alan Szabo Himself suggests in the leaflet to start very carefully, reduce dual rate, use more expo blah blah blah.
Did anybody notice that the travel of the throttle stick is mechanically shorter than that of the cyclic stick?? In other words, the left hand needs to be more accurate with the throttle stick.
Big surprise that it feels "faster"!

Onko se tikku pelkästään lyhyempi vai onko liikealue muutenkin pienempi?

Tuo "varovasti aloittaminen" kuulostaa ihan turhalta, Futten 80ms -> Spektrumin 22ms ei vaatinut suurta lentotyylin muuttamista joten tuskin 22ms -> 11ms on mikään kovin suuri juttu.

no, the movement range is restricted. The stick is calibrated accordingly, i.e. it gives 0..100 on the throttle curve display.

It's done with two little black plastic brackets on the top and bottom of the stick (inside the box - I opened it to turn down spring tension, as explained in the manual).

Actually, the standard DX7 has the same shorter movement of the throttle stick compared to the the ail/elev stick.
