Helicamp 2009 Estonia [last minute call]

Model helicopter fun fly in Estonia - 08.07.2009 (Wed)-12.07.2009 (Sun) Helicamp 2009 Estonia, Viljandi airfield

Dates: 08...12 July 2009. I will be there from Tuesday.

- Airfield fee: 150 EEK (ca 10 euro - to airfield owners to cut grass etc...) / event
- Overnight stay possible at airfield in house (betony floor!, but drinking water/water toilet ok) or at field (tenting): fee 100 EEK (ca 6,50 euro) / event

PS. I personally will overnight in Männimäe Hotel, www.mannimaja.ee, but I don’t have reserved any rooms/houses this time and just reserved last available 2-person room. This means, the only free rooms there at the moment is 5-place small wooden house with grilling equipment. We have here economical slowdown, as you see... ;-) Maybe you have better luck: www.mannimaja.ee.

So, if you need some hotel, but Männimäe is not available, please contact me directly, I will help to find some suitable place.

name; piloting or not; FAI number, if exist; arrival date; departure date; is overnight stay arranged or do you want to use airfield for that.

NB! We will have also official F3C Popular (other schedules ok too!) contest there. Unfortunately, starting fee is separate as per Estonian Airport Federation rules -> 200 EEK (13 eur). Please notice, if interested!

Preliminary schedule:
Wed - arrival, setup airfield etc.
Thu - fun fly, heli clinic
Fri - F3C Popular (other schedules possible);
Sat - "heli games", inc. drag race, blade throw etc.etc.... Pub visit at night, if interested...
Sun – weak-up fun-fly , departure...

If weather conditions demand, contest can be postponed from Friday to Saturday.

I'm probably coming in but most likely only friday or saturday. Driving back and forth from Tallinn. It would be nice to meet other Estonian heli guys. Been mostly flying at the old Laagri radarbase (actually its old real helicopter landing area).
