Laitoin postia jo menemään. Odotellaan vastausta tiistaihin, jolloin soitan firmaan.
Dear Sir,
My name is Tero Heikkonen and I represent Finnish RC-copter association RC-Kopterit Ry.
We have a certain dilemma, let me describe it and our hobby for you slightly:
Many hobbyist among us have found that flying a copter or a plane with a realtime videolink is something new and may I say, mighty thing ! It is just like you are sitting in your plane by yourself even though you are sitting on a ground on a bench. So the pilot flyes using the video downlink.
A couple a weeks ago, our represantatives had a meeting with Ficora officials. Ficora is a national official, which controls frequency bands users and legal using of bands.
The dilemma: In meeting with Ficora, the officials didn´t name us any band or bands, where we can legally do our hobby with existing hardware. There are some bands where we can do it but any known manufacturers dont make any transmitters and receivers there. Officials cannot stretch law, we have to adapt to the situation.
Nowadays we have used bands 1,2 1,3 2,4 5,8 Ghz but they all are illegal here in Finland.
The most interesting band is 5470-5725 MHz. It is named for broadband datatransmission devices. Max power 1W WAS/Rlan. Devices must fulfill requirements following standards: EN 301 893, EN 301 893-1, ECC decicion EEC/DEC (04)08. SRD recommendation ERC/REC 70-03. European commission decicions 2005/513/EY 2007/90/EY.
If you understood the text above, it´s good for you because I didn´t.
Question: Is it possible that you make or modify from existing Tx/Rx a tailored solution for the needed band.
I think that we ´can find 10-15 interested hobbyist which will pay a pair of Tx and Rx 500-1000 euro for getting what they need. Is this possible ?
In any case, please take a contact with me! You can call me any time at number +358 40 7734499 or contacting to my e-mail tero.heikkonen@kotikone.fi
