Telme on kyllä ainut oikea tie niissä koneissa missä on kontronikin säädin.
Hi,
I'm a new vbc user and i have to admit that when i choosed mvc as my next system i tought that it would support j-log.
Thats my own stupidity. But still. Telemetry of this thing in just not practical for me. All because of that stupid U/I sensor. Yes i installed it to my G380 and yes i works. It's just kind of too big for such a small bird.
Another issue is that i cant install it to my big helis.
My goblin speed will take 385A currents peak. I know something about electronics so i dont want to put a resistor between my battery leads.
I run my big birds with kontronik esc's. They have built in current sensors etc that can be used.
I just want to have mah telemetry for those big helis as my flights are not always the same.
I have understud that j-log support will not come.
How about that kontronik telme that has been in rumors for some time now? Is there any estimates or info that you can release to us (customers)
This lack of mah support is nogo to me. So can you please update the project status for us?
Other then this issue i love this radio! So easy to setup and adjust your heli.

This is on the way, a statement of timeline is supposed to come from Mikado and Kontronik shortly.
I repeat a certain limitation, that may degrade the experience a bit when using the ESC´s current sensor. Internal sensors are not so accurate, since they are designed to measure quick and very hight peak currents that is important for internal protection and management. So they are not that accurate for the much lower average currents that are important for the mAh measurements. So this may need some tuning to reach the accuracy of the external and individual calibrated integrating Sensor. We will see how this turnes out if it is available. A hint is the current you already measured, that is neven the current the battery delivers, since the wires will melt in seconds if tis is true. But you see some peak currents that flow between the motor and the capacitors inside the ESC. These Currents do not come from the battery!! If we take these values, the Result will be wrong.
Our present Sensor is very small, if the wires are replaced by thinner ones. It fits small helis without any space problems. This is an allowed modification.
so long ... Uli
actually my wires do run hot
But quick peak is quick peak and average is something else...
Thanks for your reply. Good to know that there is still hope with telme
